By December 16, 2020 No Comments
One of Australia’s biggest retail giants will reopen some of its stores today, testing out the waters after coronavirus lockdowns forced closures across the country.
Five Myer stores in Queensland will begin reopening their doors on Friday morning in time for Mother’s Day, with strict social distancing rules and hygiene measures in place.
The department chain closed all of its stores and stood down about 10,000 staff without pay on March 29 because of the coronavirus pandemic.
