“That’s not the sort of language you normally here in Rockingham,” Mr McGowan joked.
This is not the first time Mr McGowan has experienced an interrupted press conference.
A high-power vehicle has hooned past him in a previous press conference while the Premier himself has cracked up when discussing COVID-19 social distancing breaches.
He shared a light-hearted laugh over reports a NSW man was fined $1000 for allegedly stopping to eat a kebab “mid-run“.
“They do things differently in New South Wales,” he told reporters.
Western Australia has a total 549 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
